WHAT IS INVOLVED IN COSMETIC MOLE REMOVAL?

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Consultation is between $60-80 and there is no obligation to go through with treatment.
Each raised mole will cost $160 to remove.

DOES IT HURT?
Patients have reported little or no discomfort during this procedure. Prior to the local anaesthetic being administered; the doctor will numb the area with ice to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. Once the local anaesthetic has taken effect, the treatment will be performed.
THE CONSULTATION – WHAT TO EXPECT.
Experienced Doctors will assess the moles to ensure they are safe and suitable to be removed using the Surgitron shave procedure. Any lesions of concern will be sent to pathology for testing, which means they will be cut out or ‘excised’ and the wounds will be stitched.
HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE, WHEN WILL I SEE THE RESULTS?
The procedure takes around 15 minutes and requires only a small amount of local anaesthetic, which is very fast acting. Following the procedure a small dressing is applied, which can be left on during showering, and is removed 7 days later.
